The name “Stonebreaker” originates from a Stone Breaker machine (England), which was used until 1962 for the crushing of metal to build the Schoemanspoort road from Oudtshoorn to the Cango Caves.
We are grateful that we are able to contribute towards a greenhouse gas friendly environment by hosting two of nature’s best carbon friendly plants, namely the spekboom and the butter bush on our piece of land. The spekboom and butter bush are indigenous and most successful converters of CO2 into most wanted oxygen!
