A 2 Zebra Adventures

A 2 Zebra Adventures offers unique nature experiences in the Klein Karoo area. Our stargazing experience will leave you in awe.  Take a journey through the stars with us as we show you all the amazing deep space objects through a telescope. Guided by a qualified Astro guide you will be transported across the heavens through planets, stars, nebulas and the magnificent Milky Way.

For the adventurous at heart, we have a night time walk through the veld.  It’s spooky but it’s fun.  Armed with UV lights we go in search of the creatures of the night. Although the scorpions are the highlight of the evening, keep your ears and eyes opens for toads, tortoises, owls and jackals.

If daytime fun is more your thing we offer a lovely way to start your morning with a Klein Karoo or Swartberg birding experience.  We will collect you from your guesthouse in Oudtshoorn and share the local birding hot spots with you.  Our guide will help you with identification as well as some fun facts of the feathered kind.  Enjoy a coffee/tea and breakfast along the way while we enjoy the sights and sounds.

Another daytime activity for the family is our Klein Karoo Nature Walk.  Discover the hidden secrets of the veld. Let us share some interesting facts about the plant, animal and insect life of the area.  Many plants have medicinal uses, come find out what do if you have a headache or toothache. Enjoy a locally prepared picnic with a view. 

If you prefer to get the blood flowing a little, let us take you on a specular slow hike in the surrounding mountains. We will collect from your guesthouse in Oudtshoorn for this amazing experience and treat you to a much deserved locally produced lunch on the mountain after the hike.
