The lodge is located on the banks of the Grobbelaars river in the centre of Oudtshoorn, 2.7 km from the Cango Wildlife Ranch. The Swartberg Pass is 28 km from the property with a host of attractions nearby including but not limited to the Cango Caves, Meirings Poort, waterfalls, game farms, ostrich show farms, olive farms and wine estates.

Our visitor’s book says “the best breakfast in SA”. Hilda bakes fresh bread rolls or “vetkoek” every morning, a variety for home cooked SA jams, fresh fruit, cheese board, a variety of cereals and a cooked breakfast of your choice, traditionally South African with yoghurt, fresh fruit juice, tea and coffee.
