HEADLINES is the second oldest restaurant in town and for the last 22 years the restaurant has been owned and managed by Nico and Hannietjie Geldenhuys.

Our Catering & Venue
Situated on the main road from George to the Cango Caves. The restaurant seats 106 guests, the smoking area 24 guests and 48 guests can be seated on the veranda. We design and create menus to suit our individual client’s needs and no theme or idea is unobtainable. We make sure our delicacies are flawlessly prepared and presented so that they are both delicious as well as visually attractive.
Our main goal is to consistently exceed our customer’s expectations, communicating with them and meeting their needs whether it is a wedding, family reunion, birthday party, high teas, corporate functions or social gathering. Ample parking for cars and busses is available at the back of the restaurant. Set menus and special prices for groups are available on request.
