De Akker is situated in the center of Oudtshoorn, walking distance from Restaurants, Shops, Museums some Attractions, perfect for tourists and busy corporates. This beautiful sandstone gem was built in the early 1900’s and has been renovated to be your home away from home.

We can accommodate up to 19 guests in our 7 Luxury bedrooms. We serve a delicious 2 course breakfast and on top of that with Good Coffee, Carmien Tea, juice, muffins, bread, jam and cheese.

DE AKKER ACCOMMODATION

The guest house accommodates guests in 5 luxury rooms and 2 self-catering units. The luxury rooms are tastefully furnished and contain a double bed or twin single beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The family room features a double bed as well as a bunk bed for small children.

Room Features: Tea & coffee facilities, Fridge, Air-conditioning, Ceiling Fan, Free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV with hotel package DSTV, USB port, bathroom amenities, towels and more…

The self-catering units contain double or single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The kitchenettes are well-equipped with all cutlery and crockery, cookware, microwave and toaster for a comfortable self-catering stay. The Luxury self-catering Units each have their own private front terrace with barbeque area.

De Akker Guesthouse has a beautiful front garden, pool and barbeque area for all guests to enjoy and last but not least, we do have an inverter installed, so ceiling lights, ceiling fan, Wi-Fi and hot water not effected during Load shedding.
