Cafe Brule offers an array of hearty breakfasts such as the South African Breakfast with free range eggs, bacon, beef sausage, mushrooms, potato and tomato with a slice of their freshly baked bread. If you feel like a quick filler-upper, try their Boeretroos, a cup of the shop’s delicious Union Hand Roasted Coffee with either buttermilk or bran rusks.
Lunch is a grand affair with sandwiches ranging from The Full Monty with ham, Emmenthal cheese, sautéed tomatoes and fried egg with salad leaves to The Desperate Housewife with cottage cheese, thyme sautéed mushrooms, rosa tomatoes and rocket. Also on offer is the signature Ostrich Burger on a home-made bun with caramelised onions and coleslaw.
